Gilly Stephenson’s Bees Wax Filler Sticks are coloured sticks that are used for repairing cracks and small holes in most wooden surfaces.

Typical Uses:

  • Furniture.
  • Wooden surfaces.

Features:

  • Available in a mixed pack of orange/ brown, mid brown, red/ brown, dark brown and either natural or black.
  • Can be buffed to a fine finish and coated with most materials.
  • Colours can be mixed to obtain different shades.

Application:

Apply to cracks and small holes as required.

Scratch Cover

Gilly Stephenson’s Scratch Cover is used to colour scratches in wood. TYPICAL USES Colours scratches in dark wood. Revives slightly worn furniture when stripping the timber is not warranted

APPLICATION

1. Shake vigorously before and during application.

2. Apply with a paper towel or soft cloth.

3. Wipe immediately for scratches.

4. Leave overnight for renovation.

5. Buff and polish if required.

Clear Restoring and New Timber Polish

Gilly Stephenson’s Restoring & New Timber Polish is designed as a starter polish for new work or furniture that has been stripped back. TYPICAL USES

• Restores moisture to furniture that has become dry or faded

• For raw and unsealed wood

• Effective on leather - can be used on both dark or brown leather

• Not suitable for constant use on French polished furniture or other similarly sealed surfaces as it may become too ‘greasy’

FEATURES

• Brings out the natural grain of wood, feeds the timber and provides a good initial sheen

• Available in clear and dark

• Contains no harmful silicone or hydrocarbon solvents

APPLICATION

1. Apply 1-3 coats of Restoring & New Timber Polish to prepared surface and buff with a soft cloth.

2. For a higher sheen and harder finish apply a coat of Cabinet Maker’s Wax preferably using [0000] steel wool. Buff with a soft cloth. The number of applications will depend on the finish required.

Gilly Stephenson’s Cabinet Makers Wax

Gilly Stephenson’s Cabinet Makers Wax is a traditional polish made with bees wax and carnauba wax. It adds sheen to wooden surfaces and is excellent for filling small holes, defects and hairline cracks.

TYPICAL USES

• Excellent on jarrah, oak and other woods that have no specific finish

• Not recommended for modern finishes

FEATURES

• Hard finish

APPLICATION

Apply sparingly and buff immediately. On large surface areas only

work on a small area at any given time.

To restore wax finish on stripped furniture and/ or establish a wax finish

on raw wood:

1. Apply 1 to 3 coats of Restoring & New Timber Polish to prepared surface and buff with a soft cloth.

2. Apply at least 2 coats of Cabinet Makers Wax, preferably using [0000] steel wool. Buff with a soft cloth. The number of applications will depend on the finish required.

Gilly Stephenson’s Carnauba Polish

Gilly Stephenson’s Carnauba Polish is a fast drying high sheen finishing polish for all types of woods.

TYPICAL USES

• Tabletops, decoupage and other surfaces prone to finger marks

• Excellent finish on marble, tortoiseshell and other hard surfaces

• For maintenance of antiques and fine furniture

• Helps prevent rust on base metals

• Friction polish for use on the lathe

FEATURES

• Made with bees wax and a high proportion of carnauba wax making it ideal for use on modern finishes

• Can be used on raw wood and buffed with a pine brush

APPLICATION

Apply sparingly and buff immediately. On large surface areas only

work on a small area at any given time.

To restore wax finish on stripped furniture and/ or establish a wax finish

Gilly Stephenson’s Floor Polish is a high quality bees wax polish for new unsealed and/ or restored wooden floors.

TYPICAL USES

• Restores colour and hides scratches

• Gives a traditional wax finish to wooden floors

FEATURES

• Does not contain silicone

• Quick and easy to apply

APPLICATION

1. Test a small area for suitability, particularly over pale timbers.

2. Apply sparingly to clean and dry surface with a cloth then polish to give a satin finish.

3. For freshly sanded porous timbers use a sanding sealer before waxing.

Gilly Stephenson’s Cream Polish

Gilly Stephenson’s Cream Polish is a furniture polish made with the finest West Australian bees wax to an old English recipe.

TYPICAL USES

• Maintaining wooden antiques and fine furniture

• Best polish for French polished furniture

• Suitable for leather, vinyl and marble

FEATURES

• The polish is emulsified, making it easy to apply

• Available in 3 scents: Lavender, Rose and Lemon

• Rich in wax to give lasting protection

APPLICATION

Apply sparingly and polish immediately with a clean soft cloth.

To Restore Wax Finish on Stripped Furniture and/ or a Wax

Finish on Raw Wood

1. Apply 1 to 3 coats of Restoring and New Timber Polish to prepared surface and buff with a soft cloth.

2. Apply at least 2 coats of Cabinet Makers Wax, preferably using [0000] steel wool. Buff with a soft cloth. The number of applications will depend on the finish required.

3. Finish and maintain with Cream Polish.

To Revive and Repolish an Old Finish

1. Use Polish Reviver to remove old wax and grime.

2. Finish with Cream Polish.

Gilly Stephenson’s Orange Oil has excellent cleaning properties and is ideal for old neglected furniture. OIL CLEAN/ RESTORE Cane, Wicker, Chopping Boards, Tables

Typical Uses:

  • Cleans and restores.
  • Maintains a satin finish on antiques and fine furniture.
  • Feeds unpolished surfaces such as drawers and the undersides of tables, salad bowls and chopping boards.
  • Suitable for raw or unsealed wood.
  • Simple way to keep cane furniture and wicker in good condition.
  • Gives a golden hue to pine.

Features:

  • Non-toxic.
  • Simple to use with a pleasant citrus odour.

Application:

Apply with a soft cloth then buff off with a clean cloth
